Any individual who, after the 22nd of September 1922, lost his or her citizenship usa by marrying an alien who doesn't qualify for citizenship, may reclaim naturalized citizenship provided that the other nationality was acquired solely through marriage and that other requirements have been met.  Two of the criteria that the applicant must satisfy are:

(1) establishing that he or she has allegiance to U.S. Constitutional principles and is of good moral character for at least five years prior to filing a naturalization application and up to the time that he or she is admitted as a U.S. citizen and

(2) residing uninterruptedly in the U.S. since the date of his or her marriage and be a lawful permanent resident prior to the filing of the naturalization application.
