How do I get an N 400 Form to Become a Naturalized US Citizen? I have been here for about six years.

I got married to someone from the US and I have been living here for about 6 years and I want to become a naturalized US citizen. Immigration law confuses me, but I guess I need an n 400 form. How exactly do I go about obtaining an n 400 form and where do I send it once I get it?

The n 400 form is the form required to apply for United States citizenship. You can obtain the n 400 form from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website or by contacting the Department of Immigration. You may submit your form either online or via mail to one of several offices depending upon the state you live in. You can also fill out the form and submit it online directly from that same website. There is a fee, which is $675 including fees as of 2009. If you have questions about the form, filling it out or where to obtain it, you should consult with an experienced immigration law attorney who can provide you with guidance throughout the immigration process.
