The K1 visa is for the foreign fiancé(e) of a U.S. citizen. This visa allows the foreign-citizen fiancé(e) to travel into the United States and marry his/her U.S. sponsor. It will allow a single entry to the U.S. anytime within the six months after it has been issued by the U.S. consulate.
It's also important to know the length of time the K-1 visa will last after the person arrives in the United States. It will be good for a 90-day period, starting from the arrival date. During this time period, you must get married, after which the foreign-citizen is allowed to apply for adjustment status to lawful permanent resident (LPR).
