What is a b2 visa and how does one obtain an extension?

This usa visitor visa is issued to individuals whose intended travel is for purposes of medical treatment, tourism, or recreation.  For a b2 visa extension, applicants must request an application to extend status from the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services, a branch of the Department of Homeland Security.  It is recommended that non-immigrants apply for an extension well before the date listed on their Form I-94.  The conditions for an extension of this visitors visa are (1) lawful admission into the United States, (2) non-commission of a crime that is disqualifying in nature, and (3) continued validity of the applicant's non-immigrant status.
