Dagmar is a practicing attorney, specializing in commercial litigation and pro bono immigration law. Her background includes a federal clerkship, and a diverse practice of law at two NYC law firms - Debevoise & Plimpton (in transactional and real estate law), and Boies, Schiller & Flexner (in litigation). While at Debevoise, Dagmar was also the pro bono Asylum Program Coordinator, and has since volunteered at Human Rights First in their refugee protection program. Most recently, she has had a solo practice. In her spare time, she has taught legal writing as an adjunct professor at several NYC law schools, including Columbia Law School. She received her B.A. from Yale University and her J.D. from Columbia Law School.
