Immigration And Naturalization

Immigration and naturalization are two related but distinct processes that are quite involved as individuals go through the proper steps and appropriate channels to gain temporary or permanent residency in a given country. Whereas immigration is the movement or migration of individuals from one country to another, naturalization is the process by which an individual gains citizenship in a given country. Naturalization is the only other official way that one may gain citizenship aside from birth in the given country. There are many different criteria that must be followed to gain a visa for appropriate immigration and even more stringent qualifications for somebody to become a naturalized citizen of any given country.
