Green Card Interview

A Green Card interview is a process by which the government wishes to learn more about the individual applying. The most common instance of a Green Card interview is for those applying for a Green card through marriage as a personal interview to assess the relationship is usually required. The interview questions the life, work, interests, and relationship status of the couple for which the individual's petition for a Green card is associated. This is the opportunity for the government to really get to know the individual and to ensure that the Green Card that they are giving out is going to a reputable person and that the marriage is legitimate.
