Visit Visa

A visit visa is a type of visa that allows a non-citizen entrance into a country for a short specified period of time. Visit visas can either be qualified as travel visas or special purpose visas, both of which are for specific purposes and have certain timeframes attached to them. These are usually the shortest time periods granted for a visa that allow a non-citizen access into a country that is not their own. As it is important that there is no suspicion that the individual applying for a visit visa intends to stay longer than the specified time period, special attention are paid to this particular type of visa. In modern days, there is a Visa Waiver program that allows for an individual to gain access to a participating country for less than 90 days, but a visit visa is still more desirable.
