PERM Tracking

PERM application status can be tracked using a website provided by the Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC). OFLC consists of a national office in Washington, DC, supported by two National Processing Centers in Atlanta and Chicago. The OFLC site is designed to provide information on PERM, and facilitate the tracking of applications. Individual applicants may not track their own application; PERM tracking must be done by an employer or immigration attorney. A PERM certification allows an employer to hire a foreign worker to work permanently in the United States. If the application is approved, the 9089 form is certified, and the employer can proceed to filing an Immigrant Petition for an Alien Worker application with the USCIS.
