Marriage Visa

A marriage visa is a K1 visa that allows a nonimmigrant type of visa that benefits a fiancée of a United States citizen. This type of visa begins by the application being made by the petitioner in the United States, and there must be some solid information provided to show and support the relationship in total. It must be shown through evidence that the couple is truly together and that their intent is to get married. The couple must have met within the last two years, have the intent to get married, and fulfill all qualifications individual including no criminal intent. For a K1 visa to be granted, not only does there need to be evidence of an actual relationship with intent to marry, but the marriage must take place within 90 days of the immigrant entering the United States. Usually the government checks back in on these to be sure that it is a legitimate marriage for up to two years.
