Immigration Refugee

Immigration refugee is a result of an individual who has been found to fit the criteria of not being able to return to their home country. An individual that flees their country in times of war, or political, social, or religious unrest due to their need for safety, is called a refugee. Such an individual is seeking political asylum which means that they want to settle in this new country as they feel unsafe in their home country and need refuge and the ability to set up a new home. A government considers each refugee on a case-by-case basis and then determines if they may become an official resident of their country and grants them the appropriate immigration status.
