Immigration employment is a hot topic right now as it is believed that there are a growing number of illegal immigrants who are working in the United States in an undocumented manner. Many companies have found that they can employ illegal immigrants without the overhead costs associated with other workers and have therefore signed them on, though this is not a legal or recommended practice. There are a variety of different types of visas that allow a company to bring in a foreign worker in a practice that is backed by and approved by the United States government.
