Citizenship Interview

A citizenship interview is the process by which an individual meets with an approved government official to answer questions and prove that they are ready and worthy to be a citizen of that given country. In most instances, a citizenship interview includes questions on the culture, founding principles, and history of the country for which the individual wishes to become a citizen. The citizenship interview also usually requires that the individual read, write, and show competency in the official language of the country as well. Preparing for the citizenship interview and keeping a clean record free of any criminal activity or poor moral judgment can make the process much easier. At successful passing of the citizenship interview, individuals can take the oath and become official citizens of the given country.
