American Citizenship Test

The American Citizen Test is administered to all immigrants applying for US citizenship. The test consists of 10 questions about US history, civics, geography, and government. Applicants taking the test must answer at least six questions correctly to pass. For those wishing to study, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) offers a list of the 100 questions that will randomly appear on the test. The full list of questions can be found online or in "A Guide to Naturalization", a free USCIS publication. Questions include "What is the name of the current president?", "Who wrote the Declaration of Independence?" and "Where is the Statue of Liberty?". Passing the American Citizenship Test is one of the last steps of the naturalization process.
